Where to Buy Variable Optical Attenuators
Some applications, for example in optical fiber communications, need variable optical attenuators. There are both bulk-optical (free-space) attenuators and fiber-optic devices, based on different operation principles. They can vary in terms of polarization dependence, range and accuracy of attenuation, range of operation wavelengths, power handling capability and other properties.
