Company Description

HCP specializes in custom solutions of optical wavelength converters for initial development and commercialization of project and product based on periodically poled nonlinear materials – MgO:PPLN/PPLT bulk and waveguide crystals and also fiber-packaged mixers. HCP provides cost-effective and fast turnaround products for full spectrum applications range from UV to mid-IR and THz, enabling scientific and industrial applications, e.g. quantum information, organic gas sensing, bio-medical surgery and others.

HC Photonics (HCP) provides crystal ovens and controllers to well manage the temperature of nonlinear crystals, especially PPLN and PPLT. The operating range is from room temperature up to 200°C, which enables a wide wavelength tuning range.

frequency doubling devices Efrequency doubling devices from HC Photonics

HC Photonics (HCP) offers both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom PPMgO:LN or PPMgO:LT based frequency doubling devices for wavelength ranging from 710 nm to 5000 nm.

The product mix includes bare crystals (bulk and waveguide) and plug-and-play fibered mixers.

HC Photonics (HCP) offers both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom PPMgO:LN or PPMgO:LT based frequency quadrupling devices for pump wavelength ranging from 1420 nm to 5000 nm.

The product mix includes bare crystals and plug-and-play fibered mixers with either one cascaded design or two-stage conversion configurations.

A typical reference spec is the 488 nm fibered mixer converted from 1952 nm fiber laser.

HC Photonics (HCP) offers both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom PPMgO:LN or PPMgO:LT based frequency tripling devices for input wavelength ranging from 1064 nm to 5000 nm.

The product mix includes bare crystals and plug-and-play fibered mixers.

HC Photonics (HCP) offers a wide range of solutions for optical parametric oscillators (OPOs) including commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom PPMgO:LN based devices.

PPLN bare crystals are excellent devices (i.e. >90% conversion efficiency) for all-kind pumped OPOs i.e. cw, ns, fs and ps.

PPLN cavity mixers such as IC-OPOs have options of either fixed or broadly tunable wavelengths between 1420 nm and 4100 nm. They are the most compact and easy-to-use OPO devices in the market.

HC Photonics (HCP) provides high conversion efficiency PPLN waveguides (periodically poled lithium niobate waveguides) to enable full-spectrum applications (i.e. single photon or Solc filter modulator) available for up-conversion (SHG/SFG) and down-conversion (DFG/OPA/OPG) frequency mixing configurations.

Two types of the waveguide are available to fulfill different applications. One is a proton-exchanged waveguide (up to 50 mm long) and the other one is ridge waveguide for high power handling (i.e. >2W at 780 nm output).

Tailored waveguides are available based on specific demands.
