Company Description
Covesion is a UK manufacturer of MgO:PPLN crystals for non-linear frequency conversion. MgO doped periodically poled lithium niobate has a high effective nonlinear coefficient allowing for highly efficiency frequency conversion for wavelengths from the visible to the mid-infrared. MgO:PPLN crystals support a wide range of applications such as: frequency doubling of femtosecond lasers; mid-infrared generation; atom cooling; terahertz generation and biomedical imaging.
Crystals are available from stock for common SHG, DFG, OPO and SFG interactions. Covesion also manufactures a range of ovens and a temperature controller for precision thermal management.
A custom design and fabrication service provides application-specific technical consultation with specialist grating design and contract manufacture. A range of custom design packages are available, including: one-off crystals, OEM prototyping and large-volume manufacture.

Our PPLN clips are easily mounted into the oven using the auto-locating pins. These also allow the PPLN clips to be swapped in and out with minimal realignment of the optical train.
