Where to Buy Saturable Absorbers
Saturable absorbers are mostly used for passive Q switching and mode locking of lasers. For Q switching, one often uses certain doped crystals like Cr4+:YAG or V3+:YAG, while for mode locking it is common to use semiconductor absorbers (SESAMs).
